Owner Jason: From the humble beginnings Bicycles have always a passion of mine after wondering for many years why, I approached my farther and enquired, "Where did my interest in Bicycles originate from?" He promptly replied, “Remember when you were about 9 years old and you wanted a bicycle, so I brought one home in a carrier bag in bits, and said build that!”
Perhaps this was a little harsh at the time but for sure my business and service
I am providing these days would certainly not be so positive.
My Background is in Electronics and computers for over 25 years again you could say what has this got to do with bicycles? Many advances in technology over the last 20 years has seen Bicycles carrying computers linked to turbo trainers, Prototype Frames with a hand built finish require a computer from the very start at design and right through to the final Trail/road tests.
The Direction of the business is still to continue to provide the local people
with a excellent bicycle solution but still ever expanding into many directions
due the modern day cyclist requiring either a Vintage Tourer through to
a Downhill All mountain machine along with all the equipment and accessories our beginnings are modest!
What make us totally locally? How many customers do you see
in the local shops that have bicycled over instead of driving and most when
questioned why would reply either to save money or for the love of the open air and with Valecycles help we can “Keep Calm and Pedal On!”
