As part of Transition West Bridgford, 4 years ago we set up the West Bridgford Skills Exchange.
This is a group of people who all live in WB in walking/cycling distance of eachother.
They have been drawn to the scheme as they like the community building side of it as well as the sharing of skills, services and goods.
We have now got 130 members, who use the system regularly. The motto is: Give generously and receive graciously. Always to your best and take care of each other.
For each hour of a service, skill etc you will receive a token (gem) which can then be exchanged anywhere else in the system.
