Capoeira Nottingham is an organisation dedicated to the promotion of Brazilian culture in Nottingham, and in particular Capoeira: an artform that combines dance, ritual, music, martial-art and acrobatics. We run regular classes for adults and children in the Nottingham city centre, as well as working regularly in various school, college, university and community environments. Capoeira, besides being a lot of fun, has many health, social and educational benefits; bringing fitness, confidence, musicality and rhythm, as well as an insight into another culture.
Our perfomance will be at 11am
If enough people were interested we are potentially interested in opening a Capoeira class for teenagers in West Bridgford, otherwise we have classes in the city centre anyway.
