Bridgford Bus is Nottingham City Transport’s dedicated network of bus services serving our local community!
On Monday to Saturday daytimes, buses run every 5 minutes from West Bridgford Town Centre over Trent Bridge to the Train Station, Broadmarsh, Victoria Centre and Old Market Square – making Bridgford Bus ideal for getting to the shops, work or to catch a train!
It’s even ideal for a night out in town with evening buses every 15 minutes until midnight and late night weekend bus N6 runs through until 3.15am too!
Brand new Eco buses with green engines and on board Eco Drive systems to maximise fuel efficiency and minimise emissions are being launched on Bridgford Bus at the West Bridgford Summer Gathering on 19th May 2012.
8 brand new buses will shortly start running on routes 5, 7, 8 and 9 throughout the West Bridgford area and compliment the modern double deckers introduced on route 6 in 2008.
All West Bridgford area buses are fully accessible, with space for buggies and a wheelchair; real time tracking kit so you know exactly when your bus is due (at the stop, online or with our free smartphone APP) and audio and visual next stop announcements are also available on the 5, 7, 8 and 9 too!
The cheapest way to travel by bus is with an Easyrider Citycard – a pre-purchased travel card – giving unlimited NCT city bus travel from just £1.15 per day! It’s valid all day every day without restriction and can be used as many times per day as you like!
Families travelling at the weekend or in the school holidays can buy a £4 Grouprider ticket from the bus driver, which allows 5 people (min 1 adult, max 2 adults) to use all NCT City buses for the day!
